In May, Marilyn, Anne,
Simon, Tony, And Alan planted up the hanging baskets and lamppost baskets at Uckham Lane Nurseries to designs created by Barbara
C. These baskets are sponsored by local businesses in Battle and will by hung along the High Street in early June.

APRIL 2013 In April 2013, Beautiful Battle took delivery of thousands of plug plants for potting on. Uckham Lane Nursery
kindly allows BB to rent a greenhouse for the year and BB volunteers (Simon, Marilyn, John, Silvia, Barbara, David, Tony,
Alan and Anne) potted on the small plug plants. Once grown these plants, will be used around the town as well as for
a floral display project in association with school children in Battle.
